چکیده
Malaria is a disease transmitted through the bite of female Anopheles mosquito caused by Plasmodium parasite. has been reported to become resistant artemisinin. Thus, study on ethanol extract mango parasite leaves/Dendrophthoe pentandra (MP) P. berghei-infected BALB/c mice with and without artemisinin combination (MP+A) was conducted. This experimental laboratory research post-test only design. The percent parasitemia in treated MP MP+A leaves decreased. There no difference spleen index given MP, p = 0.203 weight 0.134 (significance: <0.005). Pearson Correlation test showed correlation between parasitemia; however, there body parasitemia. extracts had significant antimalarial activity, groups but not so far. value affected leaves, affected.

BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES Artemisinins, the main stay in the treatment of malaria are used in combinations with other antimalarials to forestall resistance, as artemisinin-combination therapies (ACTs). However, ACTs are expensive and some of the non-artemisinin components are not well-tolerated by patients. There are several folkloric and scientific proofs of the efficacy of herbal remedies for m...
